Private School Funds
At Bolsover Juniors we receive money in to school for a variety of reasons and we wish to share with you how your money is spent. The school has three Private School Funds accounts which serve different purposes and receive different forms of income and are spent in different ways.
School trip account

Over the year this account has been credited with parents voluntary contributions for a variety of trips and residentials, this money is then spent on providing coaches, accommodation and workshops.
Trips and residentials this year include: Year 3 residential to Whirlow, Year 4 residential to Austrefield, Year 5 residential to Whitehall Year 6 residential to London and Year 3 and 4 visit to Cresswell Crags.

Over the year this account has been credited with parents contributions for a wide variety of clubs that run in school, it is also been supplemented by sales of items such as water bottles and commission made from the sale of photographs. Trips and activities which have run this year include: cooking club, film club, art club and a variety of sporting opportunities. This money has then been spent on resourcing the various clubs and activities including external coaches, ingredients and materials.

Over the year this account has been credited with money raised from a variety of fund raising events organised and run by the staff and children in Year 6. Fundraising initiatives included: bake sales, theme nights and enterprise projects. This money was then used to fund the end of Year prom, rewards for the Year 6 children and revision guides used for the children's homework.
